Here’s how:
1. Fill Out the Application
Begin by completing our online Student Homestay Application. Provide us with detailed information to help us match you with a suitable family. Before submitting, please ensure you’ve reviewed the Homestay Student Terms and Conditions.
2. Payment
After receiving your application, Talkabout Homestay will send you an invoice. This invoice covers 4 weeks of Homestay fees, a one-time Placement Fee, Bank Fees (for overseas payments), and an Airport Pick-up fee (if requested). The Placement Fee is non-refundable and must be paid before we begin searching for a family. The remaining balance is due 3 weeks before your arrival. Payment can be made via direct deposit into our bank account or by credit card.
3. Family Match
Once we receive your payment, we’ll provide you with details about an available Perth Homestay Host that closely matches your profile. If you’ve requested an airport transfer, we’ll also share the name and phone number of your driver.
