Caversham Wildlife Park and the Chocolate Factory - Thursday 12th September 2024 - 1pm - 6pm
After a picturesque journey past the historic town of Guildford and over the upper Swan River, we arrive in the Swan Valley wine growing region, home to some wonderful Western Australian wineries. Our afternoon begins with a visit to Caversham Wildlife Park where you will have an opportunity to feed kangaroos, have your photo taken with a wombat and pat a Koala. After seeing the many Aussie animals on display, it's time for the Farm Show where you can watch sheep shearing and Australian sheep dogs at work. You will have the opportunity to learn to crack a stockman's whip and milk a cow.
Food is available at reasonable prices at Caversham.
We finish our day with free samples of chocolate at the Margaret River Chocolate Company.
Departure is at 12.50PM from the CELT Carpark on Bay Rd and return is to the Claremont Train Station at 6.00PM
